As most of you will be aware, as part of their Local Plan Update HDC put out a Call for Sites in 2023. They have this week published their Sites Assessment and the public consultation on this report is open from now until 27th November 2024. HDC are holding a series of Public Exhibitions and Engagement sessions across the district during October, the nearest to us being in Kimbolton Scout Hut on Tuesday 22nd October from 2pm – 8pm. All are welcome to attend.
Catworth Parish Council will be considering this Sites Assessment report and formulating our response to HDC over the course of the next 2 months.
It is important to note that HDC’s Sites Assessment report has examined the development POTENTIAL for all sites submitted and is NOT the final allocation. Details of the Site Allocations are not expected until the end of 2025 and will then be subject to further public consultation. This will not include all of the sites currently assessed as having potential as it will depend on HDC’s development requirements for the whole district, and feedback received from the public on the current round of consultation.
